Upcoming Gatherings
In the early 90s, a group of rappers from New York came together around music, martial arts and a shared mythology. They became the Wu-Tang Clan, obsessed with Hong Kong kung-fu films: dubbed voices, temple discipline and codes of brotherhood. Softerfields follows that thread through an intimate vinyl listening session, moving through film, swordplay and hard drums to trace how a borrowed myth became one of hip-hop’s most mythical worlds. And we tell it in Hong Kong, the city that started it all.
